Birthday Fun

I had my birthday on October 17th. A few weeks before my birthday I was talking to my sister in law Dani and told her that I think Dustin would forget my birthday this year. Not that he does not know when it was but he and I have been so busy lately that we don't really ever get to see each other except for the weekends. Well the weekend before Dustin and I where sitting on the couch and he lend over and said its your birthday next week with a big smile on his face. He is so cute I wish I could have gotten a picture of his face. Him just saying that made me so happy.

Then two day before my birthday Dustin told me he was going to have to work down in St. George which meant that he would not get home on my birthday till late and then he would have to leave the next morning at 5:30 am. So we both decided that it would be best that we celebrated my birthday on the weekend. On my birthday I woke up and went to class at two and then to my last class at four till five. Since Dustin was not going to be home my sister Colleen was going to hang out with me after class. But when I got home I was so surprised to see Dustin's car home. When I went inside he had my favorite cake (carrot cake), some carrot cake ice cream and three roses! 

It was so great to have him home for my birthday! He didn't know that his work plans had changed till that morning so he decided to surprise me. and he did a great job of doing! haha I love him so much! He is amazing and makes me feel so loved each and everyday! 

After having a few bites of cake he took me to pick out some new running shoes and cute new flats for work. I love them! I have wanted new shoes for a while so it was very nice to get new ones. 

Then we went to Texas Roadhouse which I love! I got to have a free appetizer for my birthday. After that we went home and were just able to enjoy a relaxing night with each other. 

I also got to hear from each of my siblings as the sang happy birthday to me over the phone. Its the only day that I get to hear form all 13 brothers and sisters and my mother and father. They are the best!
